Over the last few weeks we have been working with Cath Kidston to deliver Christmas cracker making workshops as part of a nationwide craft event held in a number of their lovely high street stores.
If you couldn't make it along to learn how to make Christmas crackers in store, don't worry! We've teamed up with Cath Kidston once more to put together a simple DIY cracker making tutorial you can follow at home.

As 2015 begins drawing to a close, we are in full preparation mode for our 2016 craft parties. We are already noticing that the latest Pantone Spring colour report to be very true representation of the popular colour schemes coming through for next year. With lots of our bookings already sharing their colour schemes, party themes and wedding palettes with us, we're excited to go out sourcing all the special materials needed ahead of each and every crafty workshop.

Last weekend we led another afternoon of creative blogger experiences on behalf of Laura Ashley. Rounding up a bunch of lovely Scottish bloggers, this crafternoon event took place in Glasgow and was a great way to promote the latest range of crafty Laura Ashley products.

Our Garter Making craft session is the go to activity for those looking to plan a more sophisticated hen party for a classy Bride-To-Be. It has long been one of our most popular sessions since the very first day that The Crafty Hen was hatched.

Last week we put together a very special craft kit - carnival style! Now we need little encouragement to play around with feathers, sequins, crystals, jewels, gems.... generally all things fun and sparkly.
So putting together this Carnival Mask Kit for Talented Talkers and Thomas Cook Airlines was our idea of crafty heaven!

We've had another busy month on a crafty roadshow all around the UK getting to lead another series of #HillarysCrafternoon events.
To celebrate the launch of the latest range of fabrics from Hillarys Blinds. The Jewel Collection is all new for Autumn Winter 2015, and Hillarys invited us back to run more of our crafty blogger workshops to help promote it.
The corsages and accessories we made were great. Pleased we all managed to make a few things each. It was great to see so many people wearing their creations on the wedding day, all co-ordinated with our wedding outfits!
